On Thursday, April 25, 2024, WID-PC will host the talented and well-known Andre from Art With Andre at S.C.’s 1st brewery, Palmetto Brewing Co., in historic Downtown Charleston. We will paint for a cause to raise proceeds for our annual STEM Scholarship awards. We’ll be painting a variation of the well-known Charleston Pineapple to honor our Chapter’s beautiful location and our cause – supporting national defense, security, and our military service members.
During the event, we’ll be hosting a couple of raffles for fantastic baskets! Every penny raised from this event will go directly into our fund, enabling us to empower more women scholars in their educational pursuits.

The Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter (WID-PC), based in Charleston, S.C., was founded on March 13, 2009. Our goal is to provide networking and professional development opportunities to promote the advancement and recognition of women in national defense and security, support military service members, and encourage partnerships between the local contractor community and Department of Defense agencies.
WID-PC established the Palmetto STEM Scholarship Fund to encourage women in South Carolina to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related to the United States’ national security and defense interests.
WID-PC is a 501(c)(3) organization.
